Working in the media of photography.

Photography was and still is a big part of my life as an artist. A moment in time is captured for an extended experience. It allows someone to reflect on a person's mood, a place or even an object that will never be seen in that moment again. You, as a photographer found a moment to share and reflect with others. That moment, almost always accidental or experimental, carries a message for people to interpret. Trying to put all this into a few simple sentences is hard for me, but I think from a personal level, this media goes a long, long way in being a legitimate artform.

The Miles Davis Stamp

I am a huge jazz bebop fan. This project lies close to the heart. Originally I just wanted a cool poster composition. I plan on creating a series with other great bebop musicians. Miles Davis and Bitch's Brew. That's cool. I composed a few images I wanted to include to represent Miles. I arranged them in a nice composition and discovered that I wanted to produce a stamp. I've never tried a stamp design before. Throw in some music notes for good measure. No pun intended. More jazz greats to come. Stay cool.
